Bombshell Angel had ‘secret’ fling with reality TV star just weeks before Love Island

Angel Swift entered 2025’s Love Island looking for love, but funnily enough, she was in a not-so-serious fling with a major reality TV star just weeks before.

Beautician Angel strutted into the Love Island villa last week as a late addition bombshell who had eyes squarely on Ty Isherwood. She’s not opposed to breaking up a happy couple, and while there’s only DAYS left before Love Island comes to a close, that’s more than enough time to shake up some drama and secure those oh so crucial brand deals.

Despite seemingly wanting something serious, Angel made the most out of her single life in the leadup to her reality TV stint by spending some time with Towie’s Dan Edgar.

Dan, whose previous exploits include Amber Turner and Ella Rae Wise, was pictured sunning it up with Angel in Marbella at the end of May.

“[They] were seen at various events. It was casual dating, but they had fun together,” a friend of Angel’s told The Sun.

Meanwhile, a friend of Dan’s told the publication that it’s not that deep, explaining: “It was just one date really, and it was after he split from Ella. Dan was very much single at the time.”

Love Island’s Angel is constantly brushing shoulders with celebs

Angel’s fling with a reality TV star shouldn’t be especially surprising, as even before her Love Island 2025 apperence, she’s got some pretty standout celeb connections.

Following her casting announcement, Matilda Draper said: “Here she is. Eek. Smash it, crazy gal.”

“OMG YES OUR GIRL. They aren’t ready,” Jess White said, as Harriett Blackmore wrote, “CAN’T WAIT. GO SHINE.”

Angel’s TV star connections could be a result of her undeniable beauty and influencer-y Instagram presence, but it might also be down to her job as the owner of AngelFace, a salon in Maidstone offering everything from dermal fillers to fat dissolving.
