Love Island girl from season two found guilty of assault after leaving victim with two black eyes
She ‘pummelled’ her boyfriend’s second girlfriend
Former Love Island star Katie Salmon has been found guilty of assault after leaving her boyfriend’s mistress with hair missing, two black eyes, and a lump on her head.
You should remember Katie from the golden era of Love Island in 2016 with Cara De La Hoyde, Nathan Massey, Olivia Buckland, Kady McDermott, and Scott Thomas. She joined as a late entry on day 34, coupling up with both Sophie Gradon and Adam Maxted before ending the competition with him in fourth place.

Right, so what actually happened?
Back in 2023, OnlyFans model Jyssica Memory thought she was going to be starting a new life in Thailand with Anthony ‘Harry’ Kelly after dating him for around four years. She was told to pack her bags and say goodbye to her family before waiting at a friend’s house in Thorngate Street, Kettering, for Anthony to pick her up. He did indeed arrive at the property, but was backed up by his other girlfriend Katie Salmon and a man called Jimmy.
Last week, the court heard how Katie “ambushed” Jyssica, hitting her with a hairdryer and a stiletto shoe as witnesses claimed Katie was punching and kicking her “seven to ten times” as Jyssica was led on the ground in a ball.
“Did you really think you’re going to Thailand with my husband?” she reportedly screamed, with Anthony shouting “fu**ing little b**ch.”
Jyssica’s belongings were thrown out into the street, and she was left with a clump of hair missing, a lump on her head and two blackened eyes. Katie had denied assaulting Jyssica, instead claiming she was the one “frightened for her life” and under attack.

During the case, Katie was reportedly warned about the conduct in the courtroom more than once. Her boyfriend, Joe Rossi, was also banned from the room after more than one verbal outburst.
The prosecution, Ms Fitzpatrick, said: “This was a planned ambush. They decided they would be speaking to her face-to-face. It was planned because Harry lied to get the victim to the scene. He made her believe she was moving to Thailand.
“After she texted him to say she was at the meeting place, the car turned up within a minute. The victim was running away. She was no threat to the defendant. She could have let her leave and got back in the car, she could have sought assistance from Harry and Jimmy. She continued the confrontation by pulling her back towards her.
“She was curled up in a ball, no threat to her. The next day her eyes were so swollen she couldn’t see out of them.”
The jury took just one hour to come to the guilty verdict, with Judge Philip Head setting a sentencing date for September 15. Katie was warned that the verdict could spark jail time, whilst cautioning her against speaking about the incident on social media.
Katie ex, Harry, died in an alleged suicide at the start of the year.
