A very scientific investigation into which Drag Race queen is going to win All Stars 10

It’s far more predictable than you might think

We have to give it to RuPaul’s Drag Race, they’re really cooking with gas when it comes to All Stars 10. The Tournament of All Stars has been the breath of fresh air everyone’s been BEGGING for, and it’s firing on all cylinders. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve been genuinely so excited to watch Drag Race – it’s been a godsend. Now we’ve only got one week left of the bracket format and one week left to score points, it’s getting pretty clear who is going to be contenders for the overall win. But who will win Drag Race All Stars 10? Here is my thorough investigation that is very scientific (it’s not x) about who I truly believe will snatch that crown.

In such a stacked season, you’d think this would be impossible. But there are big, big signs and clues.

Should win: Irene the Alien

One of the biggest contenders here, and to be honest – my pick, is that Irene the Alien could take the crown. It feels like ages ago right now, but Irene dominated the first bracket of All Stars 10 and won all three of the challenges. What makes this so special and exciting to viewers is that Irene went home first on her season, and now she’s clearly establishing herself as one of the most talented in Drag Race history. She’s just so good at so many different types of asks from the Drag Race producers, and I’d love to see her win All Stars 10.

What’s so glorious about it is that everyone loves an underdog and I really think she’d be such an exciting win for those who didn’t go far as a robbed queen on their season that anyone can turn it around and win big against literal legends.

Will be in the final: Jorgeous

Now we’re into the ‘Ru’s favourites’ avenue of queens. I love Jorgeous and she’s a good performer, but ever since RuPaul bestowed a “you were born to do drag” on the pint sized diva life has been sweet for her on Drag Race. Not that she doesn’t deserve it, and honestly every season I love Jorgeous more and more. But there does always seem to be a Ru favouritism to it all that makes it feel less exciting.

Wild card: Lydia B Kollins

What I love so much about Lydia’s trajectory on Drag Race is that she had a matter of days to turn in her package for All Stars 10, and she’s still up there as one of the most likely to win. This is because not only does Ru love her, but she’s so bloody talented. She has an army of fans that is like hardly any I’ve seen before in the Drag Race fandom on Twitter / X. It’s just exciting, the future of drag kinda vibes. I love that she came on to All Stars 10 and no other queens even knew who she was, and now she’s a legitimate force to be reckoned with.

Inevitably, will win: Ginger Minj

Look, Ginger Minj is talented. I never want to discredit that. But there is a truly tiresome relentlessness with which the show insists on forcing her down our throats and trying to convince us that she deserves a win. Maybe they should have just crowned her in season seven and been done with it – Violet would have been fine regardless. Because I truly don’t think she’ll stop coming back until she’s got the crown.

What’s a bit annoying this time is that neither of her wins feel PARTICULARLY deserved so far. It feels like the show wants us to be gagging but a quick search online shows that unfortunately no one really is.
