Now that YOU is over, here are nine gripping shows to watch next with a similar vibe

After five seasons, it’s come to an end

Season five of YOU just dropped on Netflix and it’s the final one, but don’t worry – there are loads more shows that have the same vibe.

The final season follows Joe Goldberg as he returns to New York to live a quiet life with his wife Kate and son Henry, but that obviously doesn’t go to plan.

When a woman called Bronte breaks into his Moonies bookshop and catches his attention, he soon goes back to his old ways, and Joe finally meets his fate.

YOU is a one-of-a-kind crime romance that somehow makes you fall in love with a vicious serial killer, and there’s nothing quite like it.

However, these nine shows are very similar and will fill that YOU-shaped hole which is forming now that the Netflix series is officially over.

One show to watch after YOU is Barry, an HBO crime drama on Apple TV about a guy who kills to earn a living. The former US Marine works as a hitman, but joins an acting class when he visits Los Angeles and realises he’s ready to leave his old life behind.
