Spoiler alert! These are the five biggest MAFS bombshells heading our way and they are feral

We’ve got a lot of drama to look forward to

MAFS season 12 is off to a cracking start, but according to people in Australia who have already watched, we are in for some major drama in the coming weeks.

In the UK, we have already seen a bunch of shocking storylines. We had Tim being a menace to society, Adrian creating his own fanpage, and then Ryan’s ex-rated comment about his wife. There’s also Jacqui Burfoot, but that would require its own article (or several).

Of course, the entire season has already aired in Australia, so we pretty much know most of the details about season 12. I’ll keep the juicy details to a minimum, but here are the biggest storylines set to leave your jaw hanging and your eyes widened.

1. Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand do NOT last

Jamie

Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand quickly became the couple to beat on season 12, but I’m sorry to inform you that their marital bliss did not last. Things seemingly break down during feedback week when Dave admits to not being “in love” with Jamie.

Currently, sources have claimed that Jamie and Dave are “at war” with one another, with Jamie believing that Dave went on Married at First Sight for all the “wrong reasons.”

2. Eliot tanks ANOTHER marriage

Eliot Donovan ditched Lauren Hall on the second day of their honeymoon, but he gave the experiment another try with Veronica Cloherty, whom we met during the most recent episodes airing here in the UK. Though Eliot and Veronica’s relationship lasts considerably longer than his earlier marriage, they too headed to splitsville by the end of the show.

Veronica reportedly grew close to Dave Hand during couple swap week, and she and Eliot never fully recovered as a result. Come the final commitment ceremony, both parties voted to leave.

3. Maybe Lauren Hall was the villain all along?

Lauren

Poor Lauren Hall didn’t have a good start to the MAFS Australia experiment, but she was given another shot in the form of golfer Clint Rice. However, we will soon learn that Eliot might have spotted those red flags we clearly missed.

Later in the season, you can expect Lauren to be beefing with basically everyone, from clashing with Jamie Marinos to calling the other couples “animals” during a commitment ceremony. People have since called her a “brat tradwife” who wants to be babied – ouch!

4. Paul’s good guy mask slips in the worst way

We’ve already partially spoiled this one, but it bears repeating because it’s truly crazy.

Later in the show, Paul Antione punches a wall when he discovers that his wife, Carina, had been involved with an American rapper before coming on the show. The moment reportedly startled viewers in Australia, so much so that it was referred to the police.

Paul has since admitted his wrongdoing, stating, “I threw a punch in our bedroom door. I lost control, and I punched a hole in the bedroom door. It’s just not the right thing to do. It’s unacceptable, it’s disgusting. I’m still hating myself for doing this. I’ve apologised to Carina multiple times.”

5. Jacqui rents a house for homestays

Jacqui

Though not quite as serious or heartbreaking as the other inclusions on this list, Jacqui renting an Airbnb home for the homestays week deserves some recognition because it might be the most Jacqui thing Jacqui has ever done. Messy messy, Jacqui.

Viewers were supposed to get a look at the cast’s homes, but what they actually saw was a $200-a-night Airbnb rental that production/Jacqui had decked out with nice furniture. Though production later claimed that Jacqui’s actual home was too small to film in, she, of course, offered her own explanation.

“For anyone curious, this was taken at my actual Manly apartment,” she said alongside a selfie on Instagram. “As a single lady, security and privacy is important to me and my friends. I didn’t feel comfortable opening my home up to all of Australia. Homestays is about getting to know someone in their usual neighborhood doing usual activities. If you care about the actual homes, you should watch a show like The Block, not MAFS lol.”
