This MAFS Australia groom was caught running his own fan page for clout and he’s revealed why

He uses the fan page to write positive comments on his normal account

A groom on this season of MAFS Australia has been exposed as running his own TikTok fanpage where he posts wholesome videos about himself and comments on his primary TikTok account with adoring messages.

It’s a given in 2025 that the majority of reality TV stars are looking for fame. Whether it’s Casey O’Gorman on Love Island or Dave Bettenburg on Love Is Blind, people just really want those Instagram followers and subsequent brand deals. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it unless they continue to pretend they’re really looking for love – get real.

Anyways, on Married at First Sight, the groom was caught running his own fan page and the man chasing those TikTok views was noneother than Adrian Araouzou!

The shocking secret was exposed last month

Last month, Adrian’s ex-Geneva appeared on Abbie Chatfield’s podcast It’s A Lot to reveal his secret fan page to the world. Abbie and her co-hosts were utterly shocked by the revelation and it has since spread to all four corners of the internet.

Geneva stumbled upon the truth when she sent Adrian a TikTok and he opened it from his @adrianmafsfan account which is completely separate from his primary page – and it’s STILL up. The account only has 241 followers and posts memes about the show that are predominantly centred around Adrian.

“That Adrian guy from Mafs,” the bio reads, with its profile picture being Peter Dinklage in reference to his famous lookalike.

But it gets even cringier as alongside the videos, Adrian has also been posting comments from his fan account on his primary page to gas himself up. He might be low-key hated, but at least he’s got one fan – himself.

After Geneva dropped the bombshell, Adrian spoke to Yahoo about his reasoning behind the fan page and it actually makes sense. You’ve gotta respect a guy who not only openly admits to the embarrassing act but also suggests he’s going to make even more. We haven’t seen graft like this since Olivia Hawkins revealed *those* texts from Grace Jackson on Love Island.

“Anyone that knows TikTok and marketing, you know that you make a bunch of pages and you cut your clips and you keep posting them, and that algorithm goes,” he said. “If you’ve got 40 different fan pages or whatever you wanna call them and you post your clips from a podcast into all 50 different channels, there’s one bound to go viral.”

Because “everyone else is using [him] for clicks right now” he thought why not jump on the bandwagon and get some positive ones?

“Everyone else is using me for eyes, everyone else is getting views, everyone else is watching me and talking about me, so why would I not do it myself?” he remarks,” he added.

“I’m sitting here wasting time on TikTok. If I can get an extra million views by the end of the month or the end of the show, then there’s an extra million eyes on me, so be it. I’ll do it all day. I should’ve made 10 more accounts. Maybe I’m going to!”
