Um, a dude splashed $1.5k on a MAFS Aus protest about Katie and I have to wholeheartedly agree
My guy literally went to the Prime Minister’s house after being removed by security
After watching the recent episodes of MAFS Australia, a disgruntled viewer splashed $1.5k on a billboard and protested at Channel Nine’s headquarters over Katie Johnston.
Bubbly Katie got married in episode two of season 12 but despite her outgoing nature her marriage to slimy Tim Gromie was doomed from the start. You see, while Tim claimed he didn’t have a type besides wanting a “pretty face”, he was visibly disappointed when Katie came strolling down the aisle and didn’t even give her a chance. Recanting his earlier statements he then uttered “My usual type is petite blondes” in the moment we’ve heard time and time again on reality TV.
Watching Katie break down over the marriage was a difficult watch, even if she did dodge one enormous bullet, and I was left furious over her treatment. Now it seems I’m not the only one.
A man is demanding that Katie be included in MAFS Aus 2026
TikToker Joshua Fox has been closely following this MAFS Australia season with exclusive content, interviews with the cast, and now a protest over Katie Johnston.
Posting a video for his 100k followers at the start of the month, Josh explained in the caption: “I’ll be back at your house tomorrow @AlboMP until you agree to back this!!!”
The clip showed him standing outside Channel Nine’s headquarters in North Sydney as he was flanked by an enormous on-wheels billboard of Katie that read: “Bring back Katie in 2026. Australia demands a happy ending #Kategate.”
The back of the truck featured Katie in her wedding dress as Joshua explained that she was “set up to fail” and he wasn’t leaving the area until speaking to the CEO of Channel Nine, Mike Sneesby.

The video rolled on to show Joshua confronting various staff members of Channel Nine, requesting to speak to both the CEO and the MAFS Australia relationship experts. Eventually, security told him he “needed an appointment” before kicking him off the premises and threatening to call the police – but Joshua did not stop there.
Refusing to give up his crusade, Joshua then took his Katie billboard to the property of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Shocker, the arms guards did not let him in.
In the comments, one person wrote: “Channel Nine must hate you so much.”
“Just casually ringing the doorbell at the prime minister’s house,” another said, while a third added, “No legit our girl Katie deserves the absolute world.”
