Uh, apparently Ryan Donnelly hasn’t had a full-time job since his stint on MAFS Australia

Apparently Ryan Donnelly from MAFS Australia hasn’t been able to go back to a regular job since the show.

Before appearing on MAFS Australia, Ryan had a job as a project manager in Sydney. He had to quit his nine-to-five job in order to film MAFS Australia for three months.

A source told Yahoo Lifestyle that Ryan hasn’t been able to secure another a similar role since the show. Apparently he’s now supporting himself by “doing various casual jobs”.

Ryan also appears to be trying to make it as an actor. He was in another reality TV dating show called Beauty and The Geek in 2022.

According to So Dramatic!, Ryan had small roles in Neighbours and NCIS: Sydney, but his online portfolios were taken down before the show started airing in Australia. He was spotted filming a Hollywood horror film in Sydney in February alongside Dylan O’Brien and Xavier Samuel (who played the very minor villain Riley in the third Twilight movie).

Jacqui recently revealed that she was concerned during the experiment that Ryan did not have a full-time job. She explained in a TikTok video: “I said that he didn’t have a stable and predictable career. He’s a part-time actor. I was worried about him paying his mortgage. It was coming out of a place of concern and care and worry about how we’d make our lives work outside the experiment, which I think is pretty f*cking fair.

“I think if anyone was dating someone and they didn’t have a full-time job, they would be a bit worried. That was a legitimate concern.”
