Luca reveals which Islander he was most shocked to see back on All Stars – and why!

From Marcel Somerville to Scott Thomas, there were quite a few Islanders in the Love Island All Stars villa that nobody expected to see back. 

In a new podcast, Luca was asked who he was the most surprised to see in there, and he knew his answer straight away – Ekin-Su!

Speaking on the Wednesdays podcast, he revealed he was super shocked that she was going back in because they were both egging each other on to do it. 

“Me and Ekin were convincing each other to do it,” he said. They are friends on the outside after meeting on Love Island, so they were having secret chats.

Then, when she told him she was definitely going back into the villa, he was super surprised because she was already one of the show’s most famous girls.

“I think for everyone else, Ekin would have been a massive shock. Just because it’s Ekin,” Luca continued.

“She’s one of the biggest Islanders ever and for her to come back I think was a big thing. I don’t think you’ll get a bigger one in the next All Stars.”

When Ekin-Su appeared on Celebrity Big Brother last year, she confessed that she would never do Love Island again, but clearly went back on her word. 

“I want to return to Love Island again because it’s where my journey started and has a special place in my heart. It’s somewhere I’ve laughed, cried and learnt so much,” she then said about her All Stars return. 

“The fact that there’s an opportunity to do it again – why not! Why can’t a winner go back in and re-write her story and have a second chance?!”
