Just five days before the tragic news of his passing went viral, the Duolingo TikTok account posted the owl to a sound that began with “I drank shampoo, I’m probably gonna die.” All feathers point to this being the reason for Duo’s untimely death. Yes, it’s just as unhinged as you would expect it to be.
