Love Island winner claims his entire relationship was faked following pressure to stay with ex

One Love Island winner has revealed their entire relationship was faked after facing intense pressure to stay together after the villa, admitting they were never even together to begin with. Love Island winner Josh revealed the shocking revelation during a podcast appearance, admitting he and Mimii were only ever in a “situation.”

Josh and Mimii split just weeks after winning Love Island, with Mimii releasing a statement on their breakup. She wrote: “Hi everyone, I know that a lot of you have been wondering about Josh and I and why we haven’t been making appearances.

“The truth is we have been trying to figure it out since leaving the villa, but unfortunately things aren’t going to work out between us right now.

“I know it’s a big disappointment for a lot of you as it is for me too, your support for us hasn’t gone unnoticed and I will forever be grateful for it, you guys are the reason we made it to this point. God bless you all.”

But it seems none of their relationship was even real to begin with as Josh opened up about the “intense” pressure he felt to make it look like he and Mimii were still together after Love Island.

When asked what affected his mental health the most following the villa, he responded: “I feel like potentially the breakup probably.

“I feel like that was tough for whatever reason it happened and I didn’t feel like people realised the pressure that was on first being a man in the relationship.”

He continued: “I can’t say it was a relationship because it wasn’t in a relationship but to everyone else we were in a relationship, but we were just in a situation.

“Probably feeling the pressure of having to be the symbol of Black love in a country and inadvertently you don’t realise, but you’re carrying that pressure. You kind of feel the weight to represent them and when it doesn’t go well, you kind of feel like you’ve let people down.”

Someone please check in on Mimii, I need to know whether she also knew they weren’t in an actual relationship stat.
