An ode to Alexander: The people’s princess of The Traitors 2025 who absolutely must win
Potentially the best man to have ever lived
Alexander. The nation is in love. A posh boy diplomat who has a surname as pompous as Dragonetti has stolen all our hearts, and his silly little ways and heart of gold have seriously made the absence of Linda slightly more bearable. This is of course an ode to the UK’s most eligible bachelor – a man who through nothing but good vibes has charmed the nation even when he’s not quite managing to charm the castle of traitors and faithfuls. This is a lovely ode to the man who makes us smile at 9pm without a shadow of a doubt come Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – and as we buckle up for our final night with him Alexander from The Traitors needs to be celebrated like the monarch he is.
His rough ride
Alexander has of course had potentially the most turbulent time on The Traitors UK out of anyone else in the cast this year. If you needed any reason to judge him on his character, look no further than episode one when he generously gave up his spot and declared himself the one to leave the carriage – alongside Fozia and Jack. Whilst the show teased us for a bit, I do think we all knew that he’d be back in the main cast.
When he and Fozia returned both of them proved to be some of the best casting of the year. And then of course, they were hit with the marked card game of death and it truly seemed like both of them might be out again. Whilst Alexander survived that whole saga, he did so with nothing but suspicion.
Most Read
Both of these things happening to Alexander beyond the view of most of the players has been the reason he’s been pretty much permanently a question mark from the Faithfuls. They all think he’s up to something or it’s not as it seems, when actually he’s played one the sweetest Faithful games in the show’s history.
Our goofy king

Throughout this entire series, Alexander has not only played a smart game but has been increasingly endearing. The silly way he got stuck into the reversed nursery rhyme mission and birthed “sperber wuh wuh wuh”, which I honestly never think I’ll forget in all my years on this earth.
Every face on this is telling a different story, this mission is killing me 😭 #TheTraitors pic.twitter.com/uLs7Ek8aHc

He might have won the Faithfuls the whole thing
But what really makes Alexander the true king of The Traitors this year, is how selflessly he plays the game. He showed it in the mission where they had to carry the heavy statues up the hill, but he really proved his character last night in the way he decided that once he realised he could no longer win the Seer prize, he instantly started collecting and giving his coins to Francesca – who he had correctly deduced was a Faithful.
Because of those chain of events, we’ve now seen the result of how Francesca chose Charlotte to find out her true identity. She might be doing it for the completely wrong reason and it’s all a happy accident, but either way – it’s very likely just secured a win for the Faithfuls.
The Traitors has been infinitely better this year because Alexander has been a part of it. There’s a reason you can’t escape endearing fancams of him on TikTok.
Never thought I’d be down so bad for a posh bloke.
