All the Squid Game challenges ranked from easiest to hardest based on their survival rate

Red Light Green Light is actually pretty tame

Every Squid Game challenge in season one and two revolves around a children’s game that in theory, should be really easy to complete.

We’ve seen eight dramatic games in total across the two seasons, but which one was actually the hardest?

Well, TikTok user @andrewsvisual did the math, calculating the survival rate of each game to work out which one is really the most difficult.

Here are the results.

8. Six Legs

The least hard is Six Legs, the game where the players had to work in teams of four and walk around a track with their legs tied together, each completing a minigame on the way. 365 players played and a whopping 255 survived, giving the game only a 30.1% death rate.

7. Red Light Green Light

Seventh is the iconic Red Light Green Light, which 912 players took part in across both seasons. 566 survived in total, managing to make it past the line without getting caught moving by the doll’s evil eyes, giving the game a slightly higher death rate of 37.9%.

6. Dalgona

Next up is Dalgona, the tense game where they had to use a pin to cut a shape out of honeycomb, either a triangle, circle or umbrella. 187 players played and 101 survived, giving the game a death rate of 42.2%, so there was almost a 50/50 chance of dying.

5. Squid Game

The next most difficult game is the actual Squid Game, the final challenge where Gi-hun and Sang-woo had to fight on a playing field that resembled a squid. Only two players took part and one survived, giving the game a 50% death rate, although that was the only possible outcome.

4. Marbles

Fourth place goes to Marbles, the season one challenge where they could play a game of their choice with a partner. The player who managed to take all ten marbles from their partner won, and 32 players took on the challenge. Only 16 survived, meaning that also had a 50% death rate.

3. Tug of War

The third most difficult game was Tug of War, played by 80 players in season one. 40 players survived while the others dramatically fell to their death after not managing to pull the rope to their side, meaning the death rate for this challenge was exactly the same again, 50%.

2. Mingle

Just losing out on the top spot is Mingle, the carousel game where the players had to go into rooms with the number of people that was called. If they had the wrong number, they were shot dead, and only 100 of the 255 players who took part survived. That gives it a 60.8% death rate.

1. Glass Bridge

And the hardest game to survive by far was Glass Bridge, where the players had to hop onto one of two glass panels and cross to the other side. 16 players played took part and it had a massive death rate of 81.3% because only three of them survived.
