A simple who’s who for the cast of your next Netflix obsession Selling The City

A new real estate reality show has hit Netflix, so you need to prepare for the cast of Selling The City to become your next hyper-fixation.

Selling The City is a New York City based edition of the Selling Netflix franchise. It follows Eleonora Srugo and her team at one of the city’s top brokerages, Douglas Elliman. You might recognise the name of the brokerage from it being dropped into conversation so many times during Selling Sunset.

Eleonora Srugo

Eleonora is from New York, and is the boss of the team on Selling The City. She was raised in the Soho neighbourhood and graduated from Stuyvesant High School. She then launched her career in real estate. In 2023, she was the top sales earner, and from there she built her own team.

“Eleonora is just this genuine and deep person, who’s willing to share her knowledge and that’s very, very hard to find in this industry,” Abi, one of her agent team members, told Tudum.

Jade

Jade was born in Manhattan, then raised in Atlanta. She moved back to New York, before getting her job at Douglas Elliman. Her current role is as a real estate agent, and she manages a portfolio of over $2billion. She’s spoken about her own preference in home too, and described her apartment as “industrial aesthetic”.

Taylor is also a real estate agent for Douglas Elliman. She’s from Nashville, Tennessee. Taylor is a star agent at the brokerage, in the luxury sector. She’s closed on more than $500million in sales in her time there, and has been described as “one to watch” by executive chairman Howard Lorber. Her clients range from CEOs to celebrities.

Jordyn

Jordyn is originally from California. She’s since moved to NY to sell luxury homes. She said what sets the real estate market in the Big Apple apart is that New Yorkers know real estate exceptionally well. “My local barista knows the tea on the new Naftali development on 77th,” she told Tudum. “As agents, this means we have to be incredibly well-informed at all times. There’s no room for laziness at our level.”

Abigail

Abigail is new in the office. She’s from Greenville, South Carolina, but loves New York. Don’t we all? “To get your foot in the door, you need a whole lot of determination, humility, and some XL cojones,” she told Tudum.

Gisselle

Gisselle Meneses Nunez proudly calls herself “a high-stakes chess game in stilettos.” She’s from Elizabeth, New Jersey, and loves NY neighbourhoods. She said: “It’s fast, fierce, and always evolving, and there’s no room for amateurs. You’ve got to hustle while looking fabulous.” Ok, I love her?!

Justin

Justin’s got a lot of adapting to do, as his a midwest guy. He split his upbringing across two places: Racine, Wisconsin, and Lakeville, Minnesota. “The New York City real estate market is not for the weak-minded. You must have a strong desire to hustle,” he told Tudum. “We actually show our listings — there’s no key lockbox for access.”
