‘Where’s the ring?’ Here are all the signs we missed that Molly-Mae and Tommy had split

In earth-shattering news yesterday, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their separation as a couple via their Instagram stories. We were absolutely SHOCKED to say the least, but some eagle-eyed followers of the couple noticed a few hints that, in hindsight, look SO obvious to miss. Here’s a list of all the signs we missed that Molly-Mae and Tommy had split before it was announced.

In her last vlog with Tommy, posted just three weeks ago, the vibes seem a little bit tense. Molly-Mae told her viewers that Tommy had “cancelled his card yesterday because he thought someone had pickpocketed him but it turned out he left it at his mother’s house…” in a bit of an icy tone. Maybe this should have been the first hint something was wrong.

This may just seem like an innocent new suit try on, but it’s very obvious with both of her hands on show that Molly-Mae isn’t wearing her engagement ring. The top liked comment on the post is: “Where’s the ring?”

It may just potentially be down to the fact that she wanted to take all her jewellery off while trying on her new outfit, but in the grand scheme of things now it seems pretty clear that something was seriously wrong with the couple. It’s even more noticeable when you see this post from a week ago with her ring clearly on her finger.

Molly said she was ‘struggling’ on her own without Tommy

The news of their split came as Molly-Mae had previously said she was struggling parenting Bambi on her own, with Tommy being away so much.

In a vlog just weeks before the split, Molly-Mae said: “I’ve been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy’s just been so busy. When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifing. I just feel like, at the minute I’ve been struggling a little bit.”

The news came as a shock to all of us, especially since they were the Love Island couple of dreams. People have definitely noticed the difference between Tommy’s PR-esque statement and Molly-Mae’s more emotional piece regarding their split, and the signs that potentially Tommy had been responsible, but they are all allegations for now.

I guess you never really know what happens behind closed doors, but we’re all ready to give them the space they need to heal from this very sad breakup. We love you Molly-Mae and Tommy!!
