Umm, it turns out Zac Efron and Simone Biles are actually besties and he’s been supporting her ever since the 2016 Olympics and I cannot cope. The pictures of them meeting for the first time are too wholesome, the ones of him picking her up and kissing her on the cheek have sent me into a genuine tailspin.

As if it wasn’t possible to be any more obsessed with Simone Biles she only went and won gold again for Gymnastics at the Paris Olympics, making her the most decorated gymnast in history. Zac Efron surprised Simone Biles after she kept bringing him up during press interviews at the 2016 Rio Olympics, what a mood, and even invited him to watch her in the finals. She joked: “OK, Zac Efron, I think we need you here at the team final because we’ll all get to be there. And we need you to come watch.” Honestly shoot your shot girl.

It turns out Simone was a bit obsessed with Zac before she even met him in 2016, as she revealed she used to have a cardboard cut out of him in her room. Iconic. When she later appeared on the Ellen Show, she was gifted a leotard with loads of pictures of Zac Efron’s face on it. What a dream.
