Wait, Love Island finalists Shaq and Tanya have secretly split up?!

They were meant to be on Aftersun last night but didn’t show up

It’s been reported that Love Island finalists Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga have secretly split up, and I’ll be honest with you, there’s a lot of evidence.

Tanya and Shaq were finalists on the winter version of Love Island in 2023, and have been together ever since – but now it’s looking as though that may have come to an abrupt end.

People first started to think Tanya and Shaq had split up after it was noticed that Tanya had unfollowed her Love Island boyfriend on Instagram, and deleted all photos of them together. This was all happening whilst Shaq was conveniently away on a boys’ holiday.

Tanya has also since gone on a bit of an unfollowing spree of Shaq’s friends, notably some of his closest Love Island pals. She has unfollowed Dami Hope, who has been away with Shaq, and fellow winter Islander Kai Fagan has also been unfollowed.

Since this, Shaq has also unfollowed Tanya, and deleted all of his posts with her, too. The only picture of them together on his grid now is from an advert.

On top of this, Shaq and Tanya were billed to appear on Aftersun this weekend, as the guest Islanders behind the bar. The online description for the episode said: “Maya Jama is joined by Indiyah Polack, Sam Thompson, Chris Taylor and ninth series favourites Tanya and Shaq to unpack all the action from the Love Island villa.” On the show, the couple were nowhere to be seen.

Just six months after meeting in the Love Island winter villa, Shaq and Tanya had moved in together, and seemed to be going strong, even sparking engagement rumours in the past.
