A cheeky peek inside the real life love lives of all the House of the Dragon cast members

I’m praying that Ewan Mitchell is single

The House of the Dragon characters are all seriously hot – there’s no denying that. Unsurprisingly, the cast are pretty good looking in real life too under all of those wigs. With talent and good looks, loads of the cast are happily loved up. Here’s a deep dive into the House of the Dragon cast love lives.

Matt Smith – Daemon Targaryen

Matt was linked to investment banker Caroline Brady back in May 2021. They were said to have met through Caroline’s sister, Millie Brady, an actress who he worked with in the film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Despite the rumours, their relationship was never confirmed.

More recently in July 2023, rumours sparked of a relationship between Matt and Emma Laird after photos emerged of the pair outside a pub near his former home in North London. Again, no relationship was confirmed – and it’s probably as well, as he was later linked with American actress Lili Gattyan a month later.

Olivia Cooke – Alicent Hightower

Olivia is yet to confirm any current romances publicly, but rumours circulated back in 2022 that she may be dating Welsh actor Jacob Ifan, best known for his role in A Discovery of Witches, after having appeared in many Instagram posts together.

She was previously in a relationship with Ben Hardy after the two worked together in the film Pixie back in 2020. They were spotted out and about kissing and holding hands in London, but split five months later.

Paddy Considine – King Viserys I Targaryen

Paddy, known to HoD fans everywhere as King Viserys, is happily married to Shelley Insley. The pair married back in 2022 after being together since Paddy was 18 and share three children together. They live happily in Burton upon Trent.

Ryan Corr – Ser Harwin Strong

Ryan is currently in a relationship with Kyla Bartholomeusz, an actress and dancer. They’ve been together since 2015 and are often photographed together on red carpets together looking smitten.

Rhys Ifans – Otto Hightower

With a history of relationships with high profile actresses, such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Rhys previously dated actress Anna Friel from 2011 to 2014. Since their split, he’s kept his relationship status private, and away from the media, much like a lot of the other House of Dragon cast members.

Steve Toussaint – Lord Corlys Velaryon

Steve may perhaps have the most secretive of the House of the Dragon love lives. Whilst he is believed to have a child, their identity is unknown to the public. It’s also thought that Steve could be a divorcee, but he loves the mystery and hasn’t confirmed anything publicly. As far as we know, he’s a lone wolf and it suits him.

Emma Carey – Young Alicent Hightower

Playing young Alicent in the show, Emma was previously in a relationship with musician Kellimarie Willis, who performs in the band RLY. They were together for roughly a year but appeared to have broken up by August 2023 and Emma looks to be currently single.

Graham McTavish – Ser Harrold Westerling

Known for roles in The Hobbit and Outlander as well as House of the Dragon, Graham was once married to filmmaker Gwen Isaacs, but the pair have since divorced. They share two children together and he recently married Garance Doré at Borthwick Castle in Scotland back in January 2023. The pair look happily married and go on loads of adventures together. Cute!
