Body of a man found on Ridge Estate in Lancaster
The body was found on the morning of February 5th
The body of a man in his 50s was found on Patterdale Road this morning.
The police were called today to reports that a man was found collapsed in the street.
As reported by the Lancaster Guardian, a forensics tent was set up at 9:30am and police have been making door-to-door enquiries, as protocol after a body is found outdoors.
According to a statement on the Lancaster Area Police facebook, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
This is the second time police have been on the Ridge Estate in the last two weeks. A total of seven people have been arrested in the past week after reports of gunshots being discharged close to properties in Patterdale Road and Ennerdale Close on January 25th.
