The University of Warwick are currently planning to construct a new multi-storey car park next to University House.

A consultation for staff is being held on Wednesday 18th November, to discuss the plans for the new car park, and how parking will be managed once the construction is underway.

A consultation event for members of the public was held on Monday as part of the pre-planning application process, giving an outline of the project to local residents.

A new car park, the Lynchgate Car Park, was just opened on campus in November 2016. This car park boasts 600+ spaces, sustainable lighting, electric charging points and the widest parking bays on campus.

Final year student Rajan Bains said: “I think parking is currently an issue for most people driving onto campus. A new car park is definitely a good idea”.
