Reaction to 1D tribute band’s Bonfire Night show
Stephen WoodManufactured pop tribute band “Only One Direction” pulled in the crowds for the annual Bridge of Allan fireworks this week.
The supposedly lookalike/soundalike quintet put a show that received a mixed reaction from One Direction fans.

“I didn’t attend the event with high hopes of hearing perfect renditions of Live While We’re Young or Story of My Life. However, Only One Direction didn’t even meet my low expectations,” said Calum McLean, fourth-year Stirling student and 1D fan.
“I’m not very impressed and will definitely be sticking with the originals.”

But some fans were much happier, tweeting praise for the group, who pride themselves on being the nation’s only One Direction tribute band and the closer you can get to the real band’s “age, look, sound and energy, in addition to being fans of 1D themselves”.
