BREAKING: Canal Mills is closing down
No, this is not a late April Fools
Canal Mills, Leeds' biggest and edgiest club, has announced that it will be closing its doors for the final time on New Year's Day.
This beloved venue has blessed us with the most iconic club nights, festivals, garden parties, and has even brought the likes of Stormzy, Disclosure and BAKERY 164 through its doors. But, without the promise of Bongo's Bingo in the new year, 2019 is already looking pretty bleak.
Yes, we have just over 3 months to excessively bathe ourselves in glitter and make the most of our wildest outfits, most of which would only be acceptable behind Canal Mill's doors.
Though the reason behind the closure has not been confirmed, rumours that the club might be turned into houses were uncovered in February, when the plans were still to be confirmed.
With a limited number of club nights left, we can only hope that the "next venture" will fill the deep void in all our hearts.
