20-year-old arrested after 14 cars and three houses were damaged last night

The assailant, who has been described as a "blonde boy in a white hoodie", reportedly damaged 14 cars and three houses along Prospect Park and Old Tiv in the early hours of this morning.

The boy went on a rampage along Prospect Park and Old Tiv, smashing up several cars and houses along the way – he also reportedly ripped a window clean off a house, including the PVC frame.

Cars had their windows, wing mirrors, wind shields and headlights destroyed by the attacker – one car even had a huge dent on its bonnet.

Ellie, an eyewitness, has said the attacker "was clearly intoxicated and appeared very very violent and aggressive. Although I doubt he was actually very aware of what he was doing sadly."

Police have since confirmed they arrested a 20-year-old male at the scene last night and he is currently being interviewed in connection with the crime.
