Nick admits he massively regrets comparing himself to Henry Cavill in Love Is Blind pods

If there’s one thing I’ve learned whilst watching Love Is Blind it’s to under no circumstances compare yourself to an attractive celebrity. I don’t care how good looking you think you are, or what your grandma told you, just don’t do it. Well, clearly Nick Dorka didn’t get the memo after he compared himself to Henry Cavill whilst in the Love Is Blind pods, a decision he now massively regrets. Shocker.

Whilst Nick Dorka was chatting to Hannah in the Love Is Blind pods he made the enormous error of comparing himself to Henry Cavill, and I’m just going to tell it how it is, this man does not resemble Henry Cavill. He told Hannah: “I kind of look like him, like a less buff version of him.”

Safe to say Hannah was more than underwhelmed when she finally clapped eyes on Nick for the first time. She admitted in a confessional: “In the pods, he described himself as a football player, bigger, medium build, 5-foot-11, and what he said I don’t think is really truthful.

“It is making me feel a little bit insecure because I feel like I’m bigger than him… I’m like, a foot taller than him. I’ve never dated someone shorter than me. It’s something new but that’s what this experience is.”

It awkwardly turns out Nick had no idea that Hannah was less than thrilled at his physical appearance, and thinks he was “pretty straight up” in his description, telling People: “No, I think I was pretty straight up about my appearance. I said I was active, I played football. I told her I was a kicker. So kickers aren’t the biggest, right?”

One thing Nick does regret is comparing himself to Henry Cavill, telling E! News about his slip up and the celebrity he should have originally compared himself to. Controversial take but can’t you just describe yourself with a comparison? Just putting it out there.

Nick admitted: “That’s a bad celebrity comparison. I would have liked [Los Angeles Lakers coach] JJ Reddick. That’s my celebrity look alike right there, and I have a good jump shot, too. That would have made more sense.” I have to hand it to him this is a very accurate comparison but also JJ Reddick looks nothing like Henry Cavill so…
