The most insane Emily in Paris character transformations from season one to four
Seriously, what were they thinking vis-a-vis Gabriel’s hair?!
Emily in Paris is known for its bold fashion statements, culture clashes and gorgeous love interests from all over the world. However, if you’re an avid watcher of the show, you may have noticed that the show’s hotties seem to have made some questionable style choices over the progression of the seasons. They’re all gorgeous, that’s true, but I’ve definitely seen some glowdowns from the earlier episodes that I couldn’t quite bear to admit – until now. Here are the biggest character transformations in Emily in Paris, from seasons one to four.
Julian
The only thing that’s changed about Julian is his fashion sense – I am pleased to wave goodbye to the bright red polo shirt from season one, and welcome his new style, especially his masquerade look. He’s also rocking some super cool earrings these days.
Antoine
Do I even need to write anything here? Antoine is just so fine. He really hasn’t changed since season one. Thanks for being the constant in my life!
Mindy
I love how Mindy’s fashion has changed from fun and preppy into a luxurious sophisticated vibe. Starting with her hair up and gradually letting it down more throughout the seasons just symbolises how she’s really grown into her new self. She’s such a queen!
Camille
Can I be so honest? I’m a Camille hater. She’s absolutely STUNNING, don’t get me wrong, but every time she’s on screen I either get second-hand embarrassment or feel guilty on Emily’s behalf. Also, I’m not a fan of the honey blonde hair and much prefer the old ashier colour.
Sylvie
Sylvie is one of those characters that has just constantly slayed: The only insane thing about this transformation is the lack of it. She seriously needs to drop her skincare routine because she’s glowing all seasons round!
Emily
I get the very Parisian fringe, but I just miss Emily’s hair from season one. There was something about that clean-cut American curling tongs job that gave her that boss lady vibe. Having said that, I do like the bangs, and I guess they symbolise her adaptation to her new country. Oui Oui Emilée!
Gabriel
I’m sorry to say it, but Gabriel had one of the biggest glowdown transformations of the entire cast of Emily in Paris. What happened to our gorgeous French next-door-neighbour? Is he wearing a wig now or something?! Not very ooh la la of him at all.
