Tori says ‘she isn’t Jack’s mother’ and ‘doesn’t need to discipline him’ on MAFS Australia
‘I won’t be held responsible for someone else being offended on my behalf’
Ellie RingLast night on MAFS Australia 2024 Tori remained silent whilst Lauren and Jack battled it out after his “misogynistic” comment to her husband about him needing to “put a muzzle on her.” And now Tori has explained in an Instagram post why she decided to stay silent on MAFS Australia 2024, saying that she is his “wife” and not “his mother.”
She said in her caption: “I am Jack’s wife. Not his mother… it’s not my role to discipline him for his behaviour. It is my role to support him and stand by him whilst making it very known that I don’t agree with some of his actions and choice of words.”
She continued: “I won’t be held responsible for someone else being offended on my behalf for a joke that was not intended for their ears…”

As for the original comment that Jack made about letting one of the other grooms have sex with Tori in the case of a couple swap, the bride has since said she was actually the one who originally made the joke.
In an interview with Hit’s Pete and Kymba, she explained: “The joke is a joke that I actually made, and it was a shared joke between myself, Tim, and Jack. The joke was that I said to Jack, ‘Tim’s real cute; hopefully, I get him in the Couple Swap if we do it’. That was the joke, and the way it was recited at the dinner table was not accurate.”
When asked by the programme’s host why she looked so upset when she originally heard the comment at the dining table, she put it all down to “the wild world of editing.” Yeah, something tells me that it’s not all adding up here.
