Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips’ boyfriend has been arrested two months before her due date

Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips’ boyfriend has been arrested just months before the birth of their child, according to OK! Magazine. Shaughna and Billy were recently pictured together after she made the decision to keep him out of the public eye.

It has been reported that Shaughna is “shocked” by the arrest and is assisting the police in their enquiries. A representative for the former Islander told OK: “Shaughna had absolutely no knowledge of any activity involving the allegations against Billy.

“Despite being in a long term relationship with the defendant, Shaughna has no links with the address in question, and will be openly assisting the police with their enquiries.

“We kindly ask the public to be mindful of the imminent birth of Shaughna’s baby and allow her some privacy during this difficult time.”

According to The Sun, the police allegedly “recovered cocaine and MDMA before a follow-up search at a nearby address revealed a larger haul of illicit substances – leading to the 29-year-old’s arrest.”

The two have been in a relationship since 2020, and in October 2022, Shaughna announced they were expecting their first child together. Shaughna had previously said she and Billy had known each other “for years” before they got into a relationship. The ex-Islander made the decision to keep her relationship private because he “didn’t want to be in the public eye.”

Shaughna previously said she was “caught off guard” after the picture of her and Billy went public. She said: “I’ve been out of Love Island for three years and this is the first time that I’ve been caught off guard. Both Billy and I said, ‘It is what it is,’ when it came to his face reveal, but I was mortified by the way I looked.”

Shaughna and Billy are currently living with Shaughna’s mother whilst they wait for their house to be fit to move into ahead of the baby’s arrival. Shaughna said: “It needs so much work so we’re hoping to be in the house by next year. If it was just us two, we could probably move in and just rough it. But because we’ve got two dogs and now a baby on the way, it’s not doable.”
