Matt from Married at First Sight UK 2022 is reportedly dating Marilyse from season six

Married at First Sight UK cast member Matt Murray is reportedly dating Marilyse Corrigan from season six. Matt is rumoured to be on holiday with the former 2021 bride as the two grew close while she offered him advice about being on the show. Matt faced two whirlwind romances while on the show, with his original partner Gemma and then with Whitney. In the latest reunion episodes of Married at First Sight UK 2022, Matt and Whitney backtracked on their romance and called it quits despite saying they loved each other on the show.

According to The Sun, Matt is now in a relationship with a former cast member on the show, Marilyse Corrigan. Marilyse starred in the 2021 series and was partnered up with Franky Spencer before ending their relationship after six months together. However, the two still remain good friends.

Both Marilyse and Matt have reportedly gone on holiday together as they have both shared photos heading abroad on their Instagram stories. Marilyse posted a photo to her Instagram account in a jumper and cap and told her followers it was “holiday time” and shared a video of some camels, while Matt posted a photo of a plan getting ready to take off.

A source told The Sun: “Everyone thought after filming the reunion there was a chance Matt and Whitney would give things another go. But he’s been growing close to Marilyse from last year’s series after meeting on social media. Initially they were just friends – Marilyse was keen to offer support to Matt as the show aired and he started getting a lot of backlash.

“She loves a bad boy and felt there was a spark between them so things have turned romantic. They’ve been meeting up for secret dates – even though Matt was supposed to be keeping up appearances that he was still in a relationship with Whitney until the end of the series aired.”
