Dua Lipa hard launched her new boyfriend, Romain Gavras at the Cannes Film Festival and everyone is losing their minds over how amazing they look together.

She was previously rumoured to be dating former Daily Show host Trevor Noah after the two were spotted kissing after having dinner in New York City together. Before Trevor Noah, Dua Lipa has been in a fair few high-profile relationships over the years while she has been in the public eye and as to be expected, everyone is obsessed. Following her major hard launch, who else has she been in a relationship with? Here is a deep dive into the dating history of popstar Dua Lipa:

Isaac Carew

Way back in 2013, Dua Lipa was in an on and off again relationship with model-turned-chef Isaac Carew. The two dated for four years until February 2017, but in true celebrity fashion, they later got back together for a year and a half from January 2018 to June 2019.

Isaac is a popular face on YouTube, mainly for his channel Dirty Dishes where he made healthy dishes and recipes. Off the back of this, Isaac launched his modeling career and has worked with some major fashion brands including Hermes and Moschino.

During Dua and Isaac’s break, she was linked to Calvin Harris following their collab on the single One Kiss. It was never confirmed the two hooked up or dated but it is largely accepted their relationship was strictly professional.

Paul Klein

From August 2017 to January 2018, Dua Lipa dated the lead singer of pop rock band LANY. They dated in the time between Dua and Isaac’s first breakup. It is believed that Klein wrote a number of songs about Dua Lipa following their breakup, even though they dated for five months. A source told a tabloid: “Dua and Paul had a really good time together but things just didn’t work out. The breakup has brought back memories of Isaac, who she split with this time last year.”

Anwar Hadid

Dua Lipa famously dated the younger brother of Bella and Gigi Hadid. From June 2019 to December 2021, Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid dated and fans were floored by their presence at events they attended together. The rumour mill began about the two after Dua was spotted at Anwar’s birthday party in Malibu and then later at BST Festival.

After two years of dating, they reportedly took a break from their relationship. But an inside source told US Weekly the two were “no longer dating” and hadn’t been out together since November.

Jack Harlow

This relationship pairing makes more sense than anything considering he wrote a song for her. Page Six reported that after they met in person at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in Los Angeles in November, Dua Lipa became “smitten” and they have been in “constant communication” ever since. A source told Page Six Jack Harlow was “very interested” and was going to “strongly pursue [the romance].”

According to Page Six, they are doing “their best” to not be seen together and have slipped into private entrances to restaurants. A source close to Harlow said: “He is going to do his best, as he has always been a fan of her.”

Romain Gavras

Romain and Dua were first linked to one another in early 2023 after they were spotted holding hands at Paris Fashion Week, days after they left an afterparty together.

A source told The Sun the pair had been “quietly getting to know each other” for months. Romain is a film and music video director and his latest project was the Netflix film, Athena.

He also directed M.I.A.’s Bad Girls and won an MTV Video Music award for it. He was also nominated for a Grammy in 2013 for directing Kayne West and Frank Ocean’s No Church in the Wild. He lives in North East London.
