Tasha has revealed she and Andrew almost quit Love Island

Love Island finalist Tasha Ghouri has shared she was going to leave the show with Andrew after the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. During the show, the Islanders took part in the challenge which saw Tasha have pies thrown in her face by Luca Bish and Dami Hope, who fans called out for taking it too far. In the challenge, Luca and Dami defended their actions saying it was just a game but viewers saw Tasha upset over the comments, calling it a “personal attack”.

Tasha has spoken about how she felt after the challenge for the first time in an interview with Fabulous. She said she knew she was going to get pied by the boys and was “ready for it”. Despite taking the challenge itself on the chin, it was the comments made by the boys that affected Tasha. She said: “There’s a level of banter and there’s that. I was standing there thinking, ‘keep your head held high and don’t show a reaction’. There’s a clip and you can still see it in my face.”

Tasha said she felt backed into a corner after the challenge, and was ready to walk out after feeling “targeted” while she was on the show. She revealed she spoke to producers, telling them she had enough and Andrew said he would go with her if she left the villa.

“I was upset. I did kind of walk out. I said to the producers: ‘I’ve had enough’. Andrew said: ‘I’m going to go with you. Then all of a sudden the boys apologised, it was a bittersweet moment. I’m a very forgiving person. I didn’t want to live the rest of the weeks in a negative way. I forgive, but I don’t forget,” she added.
