What are the cast of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging up to now?

It has been 15 years since Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging was released and became the comfort film to many while we all hoped and prayed the Stiff Dylans were an actual band and would perform at Liquid for our birthday party. The story of the very awkward Georgia Nicholson on her hunt for a boyfriend was something many teenagers could relate to in one way or another.  Since the initial release of the movie, the cast has gone onto have children and get married! They just grow up so fast, don’t they? Here is what the cast of Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging are up to now:

Georgia Groome

After her breakout role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Georgia went onto to star in a string of movies. Her most recent acting gig was in the horror, Double Date, in 2017. Georgia went onto do what we all are envious of and has been in a relationship with none other than Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint since 2011. The two had their first child, Wednesday Grint, in May 2020.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has made a name for himself all over Hollywood since starring in the 2008 comedy. In 2015, Aaron starred in Avengers: Age of Ultron as Pietro Maximoff and had us all sobbing in the cinema after his death. His most recent film was in 2021, in The King’s Man as Archie Reid, and is set to appear in Bullet Train in August 2022 alongside Brad Pitt. Aaron is married to British filmmaker, Samantha Louise Taylor-Johnson. The two have been together since 2012.

In June 2023, the trailer for Kraven The Hunter was released, with Aaron starring in the main role. “Two years of my life went into creating and bringing this iconic villain to the big screen. Can’t wait for you to finally see it in theatres,” Aaron captioned an Instagram post.

Eleanor Tomlinson

Eleanor played the role of Jas, one of Georgia’s best friends in the movie. Since the film, Eleanor has stared in multiple British TV shows and movies, including BBC’s Poldark and most recently The Outlaws. Eleanor married rugby player Will Owen in July 2022, in what can only be described as a fairytale wedding, and they recently celebrated their one year anniversary.

Eleanor turned 31 in May and recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Marking the anniversary in an Instagram, Eleanor wrote: “If  you didn’t already feel ancient, it’s 15 years since the release of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging! Forever grateful to have been a part of this film.”

Kimberley Nixon

Kimberley Nixon played the role of Wet Lindsay, who Georgia hated because she was Robbie’s girlfriend. Kimberley made a name for herself for her role in Fresh Meat, alongside Zawe Ashton and Jack Whitehall and for her role in Wild Child. Her most recent role was in 2020 as Hannah Mitchell in the BBC drama, The Salisbury Poisonings. Kimberley is reportedly single and has a son and often shares selfies with him on Instagram.

Georgia Henshaw

Georgia Henshaw played the role of Rosie Barnes in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. A few years after the movie, Georgia went onto star in Waterloo Road as Madi Diamond. She has starred in a string of short movies including Sugar and Blue Room. Georgia has an upcoming project called Annie Pannie set to be released in September 2022, where she plays Kiki, a troubled girl who meets a man in a motel room, and “one of them gets more than they bargained for”.

Manjeeven Grewal

After Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Manjeeven quit acting and has not been in the public eye since.
