‘I’m going to ruffle some feathers’: Yep, say hello to Adam as he steps back into the villa

It looks as though he has his eyes on Paige, Danica and Ekin-Su 👀

We’ve just had news that will shake the very core of the Love Island villa for all of eternity – Adam Collard is back. To be honest, I don’t think anyone involved is ready, and the producers are really pulling out all the stops right now.

But as with any new Islander, comes a silly little profile where you get to know everything there is to know about them. You might think you know Adam pretty well already, but I don’t make the rules, he gets a profile too.

Here’s everything you need to know about Adam Collard, before he takes the Love Island 2022 villa and turns it upside down.

The latest Love Island bombshell is none other than former Islander Adam Collard

Adam Collard is 26, and from Newcastle. Right now, he has been working as a personal trainer and has founded his own brand called Sculpt Fitness, where he charges up to ÂŁ1890 for the “Sculpt in 60 Days Challenge” package. It includes one-to-one training sessions with him, a nutrition masterclass and weekly check-ins with Adam. He also has a podcast called The Lift Laugh Life Podcast and lists himself as an ambassador for a number of fitness brands.

‘I’m going to ruffle some feathers’

Talking of his comeback, Adam said: “I’m going to ruffle a few feathers when I go in.” ITV has called him one of “Love Island’s most divisive and headline-making contestants” – which is probably putting it lightly.

When he was first in the Love Island villa, Adam was faced with lots of controversy

Adam was 22 when he was first on the show, back in 2018. He first coupled up with Kendall, after stealing her from Niall, but quickly dumped her when Rosie entered the villa. This caused Kendall to get dumped from the show.

Just four days after being coupled up, Rosie was in tears after hearing Adam said she was “clingy” and said she was “too on top” of him, while he was grafting Megan Barton-Hanson. Then Adam flipped again, and set his eyes on Zara McDermott.

The height of his backlash came when he was splitting in the villa from Rosie Williams, and moving onto Zara. Rosie was crying over how he had made her feel, and Adam smirked at her and questioned her account of events. This prompted Katie Ghose, then chief executive of Women’s Aid, to release a statement highlighting “clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour”.

Katie Ghose said: “There are clear warning signs in Adam’s behaviour. In a relationship, a partner who questions your memory of events, trivialises your thoughts or feelings, and changes things to blame you can be part of the pattern of emotional abuse. Last night, Rosie called out Adam’s unacceptable behaviour on the show. We ask viewers to join her in recognising unhealthy behaviour in relationships and speaking out against all forms of domestic abuse – emotional as well as physical. It is only when we make a stand together against abuse in relationships that we will see attitudes change and an end to domestic abuse.”

After Zara was dumped he went to Casa Amor and cracked on with Darylle – before they were dumped from the villa together.

Ultimately, he got back with Zara McDermott and they were together for around seven months before splitting. At the time, Zara said: “I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways. I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him and our time spent together. I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work. Sometimes in life, you just aren’t enough for someone; no matter what you do for them or how much you try to be.”

It was then reported Adam had dumped Zara by text after spending the night in a hotel room with two other women. The pair quickly unfollowed each other on Instagram. Ouch.

If you’re wondering whether Adam is going to be back to his old ways already, it definitely looks that way. A preview clip of the show sees him pulling Paige, Danica and Ekin-Su for chats, as soon as he walks in.

Upon arriving in the villa, Adam is keen to get to know the girls better. Speaking about Adam, Paige admits: “I feel like he has a lot of potential, he is ticking a good few of my boxes.” Will Paige be open to getting to know Adam? And what will this mean for her and Jacques?

Adam has 936k followers on Instagram

Yes, Adam gets this little section of his profile like every other Love Island bombshell does. But surprise surprise, considering he’s already been on the show and left a legacy of carnage, Adam already has nearly a million followers.

Of course, since leaving the villa the first time around, Adam has been doing loads of sponsored content and brand deals. Most of his posts promote his gym business, he’s very rarely wearing a shirt, and he’s worked with brands such as Muscle Food and BoohooMAN.
