How to get more TikTok followers

Want to get more TikTok followers? Here’s an easy guide for you to follow

Most of you are probably sitting on a viral video in your camera roll rn!!

Knowing how to get more TikTok followers isn’t rocket science – it’s actually fairly simple. And don’t worry, I’m not saying you need to pump out loads of content every single day and spend ridiculous amounts of money on creating content – you might actually be sitting on a viral video in your camera roll already. Anyway, there are actually a few different ways to get more TikTok followers like using new filters, viral hashtags and identifying your target audience!

Here’s your easy guide on how to get more TikTok followers

1. Post videos every day

Okay so posting videos every day is actually really important, even if they don’t reach loads of people. Go into it thinking there’s no such thing as posting too much on TikTok. If you post three videos a day then you’re going to grow quicker than someone who posts one a day and that is a fact.

2. Be hot on trends and make videos on them

Obviously you won’t care about every single new viral trend but keep an eye out for any you might like and use them to stand out.

3. Use trending audio and effects

Nick Uhas, who has over 7.4 million TikTok, followers says it’s important to use the trends to your advantage. He said TikTok rewards users for using the newest filters. You can upload your own audio, but Nick says it’s important to take the hint that the app wants you to use what it’s giving you. It’s always adding new filters and effects so be sure you keep an eye out for them.

4. Use viral hashtags

Don’t use #FYP or #foryou or other generic hashtags especially if you have a niche video idea. Be obvious with your hashtag because TikTok sometimes helps serve your video to the right crowd.

5. Know when is a good time to post on TikTok

According to this huge study conducted by Influence Marketing Hub, the best times (GMT) to post on TikTok are as follows.

  • Monday: 11am, 3pm, 3am
  • Tuesday: 7am, 9am, 2pm
  • Wednesday: 12pm, 1pm, 4am
  • Thursday: 2pm, 6pm, 12am
  • Friday: 10am, 6pm, 8pm
  • Saturday: 4pm, 12am, 1am
  • Sunday: 12pm, 1pm, 9pm

6. Reply to comments

The more comments you have on a video then the more likely it is to go viral.
