The Guardian’s 2022 university rankings have created a crucial new category – scoring unis out of 10 for spending per student. In other words – how much of your nine grand is actually being spent on you.

It turns out that Exeter, Sheffield and Queen’s University Belfast are spending the least on their students.

Meanwhile, Oxford and Cambridge are treating anyone who bags a spot at their uni like pure royalty.
