no bones day TikTok, Noodle the pug, no bones day, bones day

Okay so what does it mean to have a ‘no bones day’ and why is it all over my TikTok rn?

My favourite days are the ones with bones x

What would you do if I told you millions of people around the world are relying on an old pug to tell them whether it’s going to be a no bones day or not? Because that is the current reality for those of us on no bones day TikTok.

But if you have no idea what no bones day means or who Noodle the pug is then just know you’re in the right place because I’m going to explain everything to you. So first let’s see where no bones day actually comes from.

No bones day is a game that a man plays with his dog on TikTok

The trend started back in August when Noodle’s owner, Jonathan Graziano, began posting videos of Noodle’s morning routine. The first video went viral and from that, no bones day was born. In the viral video, Jonathan says: “You’re just in time for another round of no bones” – a game he plays to see if Noodle has bones or not. You can watch the first recorded game of no bones day below:

Here’s what no bones actually means:

No bones day means Noodle is feeling sleepy, tired and worn out – basically he doesn’t want to get out of bed. So Jonathan sits Noodle up in bed and if Noodle then lies back down, it’s a no bones day.

The opposite of a no bones day is a bones day, obviously. This is when Noodle stands himself up without Jonathan’s help. A bones day is a good day!

A lot of us eagerly wait for Noodle predicting the day, it’s become part of our daily ritual. Yes, it sounds dumb, but millions of us entirely trust a very old, cute pug to determine the outcome of our day.
