Looking at them all in their homes on the show, you might be wondering just how much some of these now iconic Sex Education buildings and houses cost in real life.

WeThrift has put together research to look at just that, and it reveals the estimated list prices for all the stunning homes featured in Netflix series Sex Education.The calculations take the average price per square metre in the location of each property, and applies a 30 per cent cultural premium (based on the show’s popularity) to reveal just how much each of the buildings featured in the show would be worth on the property market. 

From the grandeur of Aimee’s manor home to the Norwegian charm of the Otis Milburn’s, here’s how much the houses featured in Sex Education would cost in real life. 

5. Maeve’s caravan – £35,750

Maeve’s home is the cheapest to live in, in real life. The caravan is located at Sterrett’s Caravan Park in Symonds Yat, sitting close by to the River Wye, and costs £35,750. 

4. Eric’s house – £187,177

Eric’s house is in Old Farm House Mews, which is in Wye Valley. The property is privately-owned and the exterior is rarely shown in the series. In real life, the house costs around £187k.

3. Aimee’s house – £1,480,928

Aimee’s huge mansion home is Bigsweir House, which is overlooking the banks of the River Wye on the Wales-England border. It’s a Grade II-listed building which was rebuilt in 1740. The house is worth just under £1.5million.

2. Jean and Otis Milburn’s house – £2,927,925

The Milburn household is absolutely stunning, so it’s no surprise it has the highest cost of all the houses in Sex Education in real life. It costs just shy of £3million. The three-story, 100-year-old house boasts traditional Norwegian-inspired architecture, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large conservatory and two living rooms that overlook the balconies – with one offering picturesque views of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. In real life, the chalet is available to rent, with a four-night minimum stay costing around £3,000. 

1. Moordale School – £43,740,580

Ok so not an actual house, but it’s still worth a mention because the real life Moordale School costs an eye-watering £43million! Scenes at Moordale High School are filmed on a disused campus of University of South Wales in Caerleon. Caerleon is in the northern outskirts of Newport. It sits on a 32-acre plot with 20th-century brickwork and an iconic clock tower, the building was once a part of the University of Wales but has been vacant since 2016.
