Introducing Georgia: The 28-year-old Love Island bombshell who fancies Hugo

Love Island just loves to give us loadsa bombshells right now. In the latest drop of Islanders, we’re getting not one, not even two, but three new arrivals to wet our appetites. Those are a tattoo artist called Abigail, an estate agent called Tyler and a marketing executive called Georgia – all ready to take the Love Island 2021 villa by storm.

Georgia could well be one of the bombshells we’ve been waiting for, because she straight up says she’s coming for Hugo – and boy is it about time for him to find someone. So here’s everything we know about new arrival, Georgia Townend.

New Love Island bombshell Georgia is 28 and from Essex

Georgia Townend is 28-years-old and from Essex. Essex has been found as the official place to be from to be most likely to win the show, so maybe we should keep our eyes on her? When asked why she signed up for Love Island, Georgia said: “I’ve been single for a really long time. Five years. I haven’t done the maths but it’s at least that. I feel like I’ve exhausted all the other options on how to meet people.”

She works as a marketing executive

Right now, Georgia is working as a marketing executive. She said her colleagues would describe her as “very gregarious and the life and soul of the party”. She added that her family and friends would say the same thing, adding: “I would say they would probably say I am intelligent, that I am funny. I’m really kind at heart but I can be quite tough love.”

In the Love Island villa, Georgia has her eyes on Hugo

Georgia knows exactly what she wants in the villa, saying Hugo is her “absolute number one” and that she “can’t wait to get to know him”. She also said she loves Teddy’s charm, and likes the look of Aaron, too. She obviously has quite expensive taste, because her celebrity crush is German model, photographer and designer, Johannes Huebl.

When asked what she looks for in a guy, Georgia said: “I like someone who we can have solid flirt to roast ratio, as in he can tease me but he will treat the things that I care about with respect and with the clemency that they deserve. I don’t want someone that is really vacuous and isn’t aware of what’s going on in the world.”

She’s a uni grad

Georgia graduated in 2015 from Harper Adams University in Newport. At the time, she posted on Instagram saying: “Thank you to Group Study room 3 for being my rent free home for the past year, thesaurus.com for making me sound 100 times more intelligent than I actually am, and my 589.6 million fans on the Kim Kardashian takes Hollywood game for making this possible.”

Georgia’s Instagram has me questioning if she is too pure for Love Island. It’s extremely pink, pretty, floral and curated. She has a story highlight for her cat, which is called Betty, and in every photo she looks perfectly done up and ready to be papped. It’s simply stunning. Her Instagram handle is @georgiatownend_.
