These are the most dramatic transformations of the Love Island 2021 cast

To be on Love Island you have to be among the most aesthetically pleasing people there are in society. Those are just the rules. And some of the Islanders in the past couple of years have been so good looking, it should probably be illegal. It’s become no secret that contestants get surgery and procedures done and work desperately hard to become villa ready – and the transformations and efforts of the Love Island 2021 cast have not gone unnoticed.

Most of the Islanders these days clean up their social media accounts and any evidence that they existed pre-Love Island is a thing of the past. But for just some of them, they let us have a glimpse of what they looked like when they were younger and before surgery and getting all glam for the show. Here’s what we could find of the transformations of the Love Island 2021 cast.

Brad McClelland

This pic looks fresh from a sweaty, heavy night at an under-18s club event. It shows Brad and a mate posing together and I simply refuse to believe that he ever had hair like that. I mean, it could have been taken around every boy’s Justin Bieber phase, that’s his only excuse. The photo was posted by a friend of Brad’s in 2018, with the caption saying it was a seven year throwback. So given that Brad is 26 now, he was probably about 16 at the time it was taken.

Lucinda Strafford

Bombshell Lucinda is turning everyone’s head it appears. We went on her Instagram tagged photos and found some pictures of her from way before Love Island. This picture was posted by a friend, wishing Lucinda a happy 17th birthday – cute! Lucinda, who used to be brunette, is 21-years-old now.

Sharon Gaffka

Sharon has made no secret that she had work done before she entered the Love Island villa. She openly spoke on the show about having her boobs done, and having filler injections. The doctor who does her lip filler, Dr Zara Nortley, has also spoken about Sharon, posting on Instagram: “The secret is out! My bestie, cheerleader, and client @sharongaffka is on her way to the @loveisland villa. Will she find love? Please show her some love on my behalf, I’m just so excited for her adventures”. She has also posted videos of Sharon having procedures done.

Jake Cornish

Look, Jake is huge. And he’s a distinct shade of orange which all together means he could probably pass for 40 if you got him in the right situation. So seeing him as a cute teen with pimples and a pale face is pretty shocking. I have nothing but respect for the glow up.

Faye Winter

Faye is another of the Love Island contestants who has been open about having work done. In a challenge she said she’s had lip filler, botox and her boobs done – so you might be wondering what she looked like before her surgery. Faye has pretty much cleaned up her social media accounts, so the above is the earliest picture of her there is.

Hugo Hammond

Hugo has definitely buffed up for Love Island. The teacher and Oxford Brookes grad has changed a lot since his baby-faced uni days, and his university pals have also said he didn’t have the six pack he’s been showing off in the villa, previously. “He didn’t look like he does now at university, he’s definitely had a ‘glow-up’ by putting on all that muscle,” they said.

Chloe Burrows

Chloe has had her boobs and lips done in the past. She has very openly discussed feeling so much more confident after she went from a 32A chest size to a 32D. “I always wanted my boobs done, genuinely I just never had boobs”, she said. “If I put a bra on, it was a joke. Even the smallest of bras, at one point I was at university and 20 and I bought a 14-year-old’s bra from New Look because I needed a strapless one and there wasn’t any. I wouldn’t even say a 32A, and now I’m a 32D. I love them.”

Liberty Poole

Someone claiming to have gone to school with Liberty posted a video on TikTok, captioned: “I’m just leaving this here…” and claims the picture is from 2016. To be honest, Liberty doesn’t look all that different! She may have had her lips done, but she just looks like her makeup skills have improved tenfold.

Millie Court

An old photo shared on Facebook shows bombshell Millie Court with her natural, brown hair. She obviously looks a lot younger, and the main change is her hair colour and eyebrows. Millie also looks as though she may have had her lips done. Millie might just be one of the most stunning Islanders ever, does anyone not adore her?

Danny Bibby

New Islander Danny rocks the buzzcut and tattooed look, so you might be surprised to see old pictures from his Instagram of him with a full quiff and a babyface!

Abigail Rawlings

In a picture from her tattoo artistry Instagram, 2021 bombshell Abi looks very different – with pink hair! She’s also got no tattoos in the throwback picture, and has completely changed her vibe. There are a few other photos on this account, from just a couple of years ago, where Abi looks loads different – again with less tattoos and this time with much darker hair than she has now.
