It’s all over your TikTok, but here’s where that ‘Jeffrey, Jeffrey Bezos’ song actually comes from

If you’ve spent the whole weekend on TikTok belting out “Jeffrey, Jeffrey Bezos” and “look at where you came from, look at you now”, you’re not alone. The sounds are ALL over your TikTok FYP and they’re catchy af – but where did they actually come from?

They’re both from the same song, which has sparked a couple of different sounds on TikTok – if “CEO, entrepreneur, born in 1964; Jeffrey, Jeffrey Bezos”; and “Tell us why, show us how, look at where you came from, look at you now; Zuckerberg and Gates and Buffet; amateurs can fucking suck it” sound familiar to you, this is where they originally came from.

The song is called Bezos I, and is from Bo Burnahm: Inside – a Netflix special starring Bo Burnham, an American comedian, actor and director. It’s about his year spent inside, over lockdown, and features loads of different songs.
