Say hello to Alisha LeMay: The latest rumoured contestant for Love Island 2021

We’re down to the last few weeks before Love Island 2021 kicks off, and the list of ‘lined-up’ contestants is getting longer and longer. The latest Love Island rumoured contestant for this year is Alisha LeMay, who has apparently nearly made it onto the show before.

So far we’ve had fire breathers, influencers, dentists and doctors all rumoured to be going on the show in June. One contestant is saying he’s confirmed with ITV that he will be on the show, whilst the rest are keeping it all very under wraps. Here’s everything we know about Alisha LeMay, and what has people thinking she’s heading into the Love Island 2021 villa.

Alisha LeMay is 28-years-old and an influencer

Alisha is 28-years-old, from Essex and based in London. She currently works as an influencer and has 159k followers on Instagram, having worked with brands such as PrettyLittleThing, ASOS and Boohoo. Her main account is verified and she also has a second Instagram account for her home improvements, and a third for an “unfiltered” look at her life.

On her main Instagram she shares a lot about being vegan and her love to travel.

Alisha LeMay was rumoured to be on the winter series of Love Island last year

Last year, it seemed that Alisha LeMay was confirmed for winter Love Island as a bombshell, but she never ended up making it into the villa. At the time, a source told Mail Online ITV2 bosses believe her “fun-loving personality and large fan base” were the perfect mix for the show.

The source added: “Alisha is exactly the type of contestant ITV2 is looking for – she’s gorgeous, body confident and isn’t afraid to be herself. She already works as an influencer and has collaborated with brands like PrettyLittleThing, Missguided and ASOS, which all becomes part and parcel of being a Love Island star.

“She’s an advocate of body positivity and often admits on her Instagram to never wanting to be perfect, which is an important message to young viewers of the show too.”

Because Alisha never made it to the winter villa, rumour has it she’s ready for Mallorca 2021 instead.

She has a few Love Island and reality TV connections already

As well as being previously rumoured for the show, it looks like Alisha LeMay might have built up a few Love Island cast connections as well. Kaz Crossley, Francesca Allen, Ellie Brown, Kady McDermott, Olivia Attwood, India Reynolds and Belle Hassan all comment on her photos, as well as Aimee Rose Frances, who is also rumoured to be going on the show this year.

Plus, Alisha is best friends with The Only Way is Essex star, Pete Wicks.
