All the drama that’s going down in Kim and Kanye’s alleged divorce

Kim and Kanye are reportedly getting divorced and a LOT of drama has been going on behind the scenes.

Page Six reported from multiple sources a divorce is “imminent” for Kim and Kanye, with Kim already hiring a divorce lawyer.

A source said: “They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

According to the reports the divorce has been a long time coming, though they have reportedly discussed splitting before, this time it’s serious and this is all the drama that’s gone down between the couple:

Why are they getting divorced?

Page Six reports that a source said Kim has “grown up” a lot and is serious about her career as a lawyer and has had enough of Kanye.

They said: “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

However another source claims the couples’ divorce is happening due to Kanye being done with the Kardashian family’s extravagant behaviour, apparently calling Keeping Up With The Kardashians “unbearable”.

The source said Kanye is: “completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them.”

What’s happened since they decided to get divorced?

Kim reportedly had Kanye go up to stay at their Wyoming Ranch whilst they go on with divorce proceedings.

According to a source the biggest legal battle could be over their Calabasas home. Whilst Kanye owns the actual house, Kim owns all the land and adjoining lots around the house.

Kim reportedly wants “Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her” because it’s their children’s family home. Page Six reports Kim has hired expert divorce lawyer Laura Wasser who handled her previous divorce to Kris Humphries.

What are the clues they were going to split?

According to sources the couple’s split has been a long time coming and cracks had started to show in their relationship for a while.

Kim has been seen without her wedding ring on and reportedly did not spend the Christmas holidays with Kanye, instead spending them at Lake Tahoe and at Kourtney’s house with her children.

For Kim’s 40th birthday, in which she and her family went on *that* infamous trip, Kanye reportedly showed up late and left early, and only stayed to present the hologram of Kim’s father.

The source said: “He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t appear in any of their Instagram shots. All he did was bring over the hologram of her father Robert Kardashian, then got out of there as fast as he could.”

Back in July Kanye even tweeted saying he wanted to divorce Kim after she had meet with Meek Mill to discuss prison reform. He had also claimed the Kardashians were trying to get him into psychiatric treatment and called Kris Jenner “Kris Jong-Un”.

A source told Page Six Kim knew in July it was not a “good look” to divorce Kanye whilst he was in the middle of a “bad and very public bipolar episode”.

They said: “Now is not the right time for divorce. They’re smart enough to know it’s not a good look. She’ll put on a show of trying to support him, then a divorce can happen later.”
