2.4 million people tried for Glastonbury tickets this year

If you didn’t get one it’s because God hates you

A record 2.4 million people registered to get Glastonbury tickets this year.

As everyone sat at their laptops furiously refreshing, tickets sold out in 34 minutes, only three minutes slower than the record set in 2014.

Even with increased capacity, only 135,000 tickets were up for grabs for the festival's 50th anniversary.

The bookies' favourites to play are currently Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and Fleetwood Mac. Although knowing how these things turn out, it'll probably be the 1975.

If you didn't get tickets, enjoy some pictures of people who did. Come June, they'll be having lots of fun whilst you trawl through clips on iPlayer.

Actually, it's not your last chance to try and get tickets. There's the resale in April, plus a "special ballot" for 50 pairs of tickets in the next few days.

But you'll probably mess it up again that time, too.
