The one reason people are FUMING about Ariana Grande’s first tour in seven years
I’ve got bad news
Yesterday, Ariana Grande announced a 2026 tour for her album Eternal Sunshine. People were very excited – Ariana hasn’t been on tour in seven years because of COVID and filming for Wicked. But once the dates were announced, many Arianators were not impressed.
The tour dates are in the United States and London, including five shows at the O2 Arena. It’s a great day to be an American or London-based Ariana listener, but everyone else is left with nothing.
Last time Ariana came to Europe, she performed sold-out shows in Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as shows in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. People outside of London feel left out, and those who actually live around London are bracing for the brutal Ticketmaster war ahead.
“How are you THE ARIANA GRANDE and not doing a global world tour,” one tweet said.

“Ariana said see you next year but forgot half the planet exists,” said another.
Even though Arianotors are shocked, this isn’t entirely surprising. The first time Ariana hinted her plans to go on tour was on the Shut Up Evan podcast in July 2024, where she said she wanted to go small-scale for the Eternal Sunshine tour.
“It would be a mini, little sampling of shows. But I do think it would be nice to do that,” Ariana told podcast host Evan Ross Katz.
But still, loads of European and South American people are upset. Ariana hasn’t addressed the backlash, but her make-up artist, Michael Anthony, has.
“What about Europe or the rest of the world?” one person commented.
“Nothing beats a Jet2Holiday hunny!! Book a flight, hello,” he responded.
He made a similar comment to a Brazilian Arianator, basically implying they should catch a flight to see Ariana live.

These comments rubbed many the wrong way and spread across X and Reddit. Michael has already apologised through his Instagram story.
“I am very sorry to all the folks who were offended by my cavalier reply in the comments – no excuses!!!” he said. “I love everyone and I will be and do better.”
