Tramlines Fringe 2025: Full line-up and venues confirmed for over 400 free performances
A reggae legend will headline
The lineup and venues for more than 400 free music performances at this year’s Tramlines Fringe have been confirmed.
The Fringe at Tramlines returns to Sheffield in parallel with the main festival between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th June.
The main stage is situated on Devonshire Green, and will be headlined by reggae legend Macka B.
Other artists on the main stage include Sheffield’s Soul Battalion and Shanghai Treason, as well as artists from the city’s WaterBear Music College and Tracks music development programme.

Alongside Sheffield City Council and Tramlines, the other organisation supporting The Fringe is Sheffield BID.
Their Head of Business Operations at Sheffield BID, Diane Jarvis, said: “As we mark a decade of Sheffield BID in the city centre, we’re rightly proud of our continued association with The Fringe.
“The event drives footfall, dwell time and much-needed additional spend into the city centre. It’s become one of our signature festivals, and we’re proud to continue backing it.”
Elsewhere around the city centre, there will be performances at 40 venues such as The Washington, Sidney & Matilda, and the Hallamshire Hotel.
Councillor Mohammed Mahroof, Chair of the Economic Development, Skills and Culture Committee, added: “The Fringe is free to attend and brings real benefits to our local economy.
“It adds vibrancy to the city and makes Sheffield a brilliant place to live and visit.”
Last year, the Fringe drew in more than 45,000 visitors and created an estimated £1.86m for the local economy.
Tramlines was launched in 2009 as a free, Sheffield-based festival. The Fringe continues annually in the city centre following the main festival’s move to Hillsborough Park in 2018.
