People are convinced Justin Bieber just threw major shade at Selena Gomez’s engagement
It has to be about her!
People are convinced that Justin Bieber just shaded Selena Gomez on his Instagram Story, and this one is actually pretty convincing.
It’s been seven years since they broke up, but everyone is still obsessed with their relationship and think there’s some kind of deep-rooted beef between them.
On Wednesday, the singer shared a funny meme of Gollum from Lord of the Rings alongside a caption about women posting their engagement pics online.
“Girls on social media when they get engaged,” it says, and the video is the famous scene where Gollum holds up the Ring in the volcano, Mount Doom.
he's been married for 8 years and has a child at home to take care of, but still shading his ex on insta story….. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ pic.twitter.com/bnSbtSEzgc

Selena got engaged to Benny Blanco last year and posted loads of loved-up pics on Instagram with the gushy caption: “Forever begins now.”
Could it just be a big coincidence that he shared a meme about getting engaged and it has nothing to do with Selena? Very possibly.
The singer spammed his Instagram Story with 14 different memes in total on Wednesday night, so perhaps he was just sharing everything he saw.
However, people are totally convinced it’s about Selena on the internet, and I can’t blame them. It is very suspicious.
One person wrote: “He’s been married for 8 years and has a child at home to take care of, but still shading his ex on Insta story.”
“This is the first time I’ve seen a post of his and thought ‘Oh that actually could be about Selena.’ Normally, I assume it’s fans reaching but this feels pointed,” said another.
A third person added: “Nah the ring one HAS to be about Selena.”
There’s a theory that the apparent shade is a reaction to Selena’s new song How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten, which people think is about Justin.

The track is about a person who has moved on to a new relationship and is now happy, but their ex is totally miserable.
The funniest part is that Hayley also blasted their engagement all over Instagram, so if he’s shading Selena, he’s actually shading his own wife too.
