It’s officially been a month since the 2025 Brit Awards. And, far more importantly than the Brits, a month video went viral in which the national icon Maura Higgins appeared to be kissing her married I’m A Celeb co-star Danny Jones. Here’s a look at all the dramatic things they’ve been up to.

Maura has been jetting off to loads of fashion events

Honestly, she’s barely been in the UK. Maura went to Los Angeles for a photoshoot, then back to the UK, then to a ranch in Texas. She had to pose as a cowgirl for an Oh Polly campgain.

She also did a collab with L’Oreal in London? Honestly, she’s really packed it in.

Danny did eventually allude to the ‘drunken kiss’ on his Insta story

He wrote that he’d “taken some time out to be with those closest” to him. Danny said: “I want to apologise to me wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

Maura Higgins is yet to directly address the kissing rumours.

Maura caused drama by not wishing Danny happy birthday on a group chat (???)

Like most work colleagues, the I’m A Celebrity 2024 cast have a seldom-used WhatsApp group chat. Apparently on 12th March, the chat woke up from hibernation to wish Danny Jones a happy 39th birthday. Most of the contestants dropped birthday messages, but Maura deliberately chose not to? Ouch.

A source apparently told The Sun: “No one really ever speaks in it but on Danny’s birthday, everyone was pinging him a message in there. Maura didn’t send a message, which isn’t surprising.”

His wife moved out and back in again

Danny has been married to his wife Georgia for more than 10 years. She moved out of the house for a while and stayed with a friend, then returned during the week of 17th March.

Georgia and Danny’s house west London is currently being renovated.

A source apparently told The Sun: “The break has done Georgia a world of good. Being out of the house and with her friend Rose Mahon was what she needed to clear her head. Her relationship with Danny was pushed to breaking point and they are still trying to work out what they want. Danny has made it clear he will do anything to make it work. He loves Georgia and wants their marriage to get back on track.”

Maura had drinks with Margot Robbie and I’m obsessed

This is not as random as it first appears – Margot Robbie’s obsession with Love Island and all-round excellent taste are well-documented.

Margot Robbie, her husband Tom Ackerley and Maura Higgins were among the attendees at a launch party for a succulently new drink called Fever-Tree and Papa Salt Blood Orange Gin Spritz. Margot Robbie, her husband and their friends own Papa Salt Coastal Gin, by the way. The event was at the super fancy Broadwick Soho hotel in London. Margot Robbie is in the UK right now because she’s filming the rather controversial Wuthering Heights film with Jacob Elordi.

Maura posted a video of her doing shots with Margo Robbie. She wrote alongside it: “Got me on shots at 2pm WHAT A WOMAN!!!!”

Danny and McFly have been promoting their new(ish) album

In honour of the band’s 21st birthday, they released a live album called 21 LIVE. The tracks were recorded at the O2 in October 2024.
