McFly’s Tom Fletcher feels ‘humiliated’ he’s been dragged into the Danny Jones and Maura Higgins drama

Danny Jones’s McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher is apparently feeling “uncomfortable” after it was reported that Danny had drunkenly kissed his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins at a Brits afterparty.

Tom Fletcher turned up to the Brits with Danny Jones. Presenters read their tarot cards before the event, which foretold Danny would have a successful time, and Tom would have a night to remember. Some people thought Tom was hinting Danny was hoping to have an eventful night out. Tom said: “I’ve heard rumours that Danny’s got some plans… I’m a bit scared about where the night will end.”

Tom did go along to a Brits afterparty with Danny, ahead of when Danny and Maura were filmed having a close interaction. Lots of people think the video shows Maura and Danny (who has been married since 2014) kissing. Neither Danny or Maura have confirmed or denied this.

Now, a source told The Sun Tom feels “humiliated” to have been linked to all this drama.

The source said: “Tom is by no means a party animal – in fact he made it quite clear the afterparty was not on his mind, but Danny had other ideas. Tom wasn’t there when the pair were seen getting close, but feels he is still associated with what went on.

“He doesn’t even know Maura, he doesn’t follow her or any other Love Island stars – he just doesn’t really mix in those circles.”

Neither of the two other McFly members – Dougie Poynter or Harry Judd – went to the 2025 Brit awards.

The Tab has reached out to Danny Jones and Maura Higgins’s representatives for comment.
