| UPDATED

It’s not quite festival season yet but Adobe Express, the free, quick and easy create-anything app, is starting us off with the BANG! Its A-List Festival is now right around the corner and you could be brushing shoulders with the likes of TikTok’s Maddie Grace Jepson, reality TV star Sam Thompson and British singer-songwriter Declan McKenna all while learning about how Adobe Express can make the student life far more carefree.

As a student, there is nothing more frustrating than having a perfect picture in your head for your project but lacking the experience and skill to give it life. You spend hours tweaking minor details only to find that it STILL doesn’t meet your expectations. But it doesn’t have to be that way – in fact – you can ace your work and still have time to meet the gang for a bev thanks to Adobe Express.

What is Adobe’s A-List Festival?

Adobe

On March 13, Adobe Express is celebrating students with the A-List Festival at Drumsheds in Tottenham. It’s got all the makings of the perfect pre-season festival: Yummy food, thirst-quenching drinks, good vibes, like-minded people, and a celeb lineup.

Wait, what is Adobe Express?

Adobe has been a staple of student culture for years and is now becoming more vital thanks to Adobe Express. Employing AI-powered tools to enhance the creative process, Adobe Express allows your inspiration to flourish, whether it’s creating a next-level event flyer or helping you to craft the perfect summer festival video post on your socials

Adobe Express bridges the gap between creativity and experience, implementing features such as Animate All that can animate entire designs with just a single click. But it doesn’t stop there – and nor do the exciting features – because Adobe Express can basically do it all. You can convert your projects to the desired format, edit and trim video like an Oscar nominee, and even get access to a bank of stock images.

Soon enough you’ll be making designs and stories indistinguishable from those created by people with YEARS of experience. The best part? It’s completely free if your University is a designated Adobe Creative Campus.

Whether you’re designing a magazine from scratch or creating eye-catching social media content for TikTok, Adobe Express enables you to work in perfect tandem with other programmes sitting on your device right now. It works with other Adobe products such as Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, and InDesign, but new partnerships with external businesses like Slack, HubSpot, Webflow, and TikTok will make your life even easier.

Gone are the days when you need 50 million tabs open!

It’s completely free for students – here’s how you claim your tickets

We love a festival, we love some celebrity guests, and of course, we love anything that’s FREE!

If your university is an Adobe Creative Campus you can already get your free ticket by following the link here. A full list of Creative Campus universities can be found below, and if you’re not a Creative Campus member then you can sign up for 6 months of premium for free using your standard ac.uk email before getting your ticket.

The lineup is looking GOOD

A festival is only as good as its lineup, and while the full list is yet to be announced, the A-List Festival’s currently confirmed appearances are already making it a must-see. The lyrical stylings of Declan Mckenna will be front and centre so you can expect performances of his hit songs Brazil, Isombard, and hopefully British Bombs.

“Creativity is everything to me as a musician, it’s great to see Adobe Express giving students the tools to make their ideas a reality,” said Declan McKenna. “I’m really looking forward to being part of this festival and seeing how young people are using creativity to tell their stories.”

The festival itself is hosted by TikTok superstar Maddie Grace Jepson who boasts 1.9 million followers and a further 276k on Instagram. Her comedy stylings are unmistakable and her specific brand of humour is the perfect vibe you need for a day of music, food, and creative expression.

And Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson is also going to be there!
