Elicia and Ethan have revealed their actual relationship status after Love Island

Elicia and Ethan shocked everyone when they revealed they were getting to know each other at the Love Island final, and now they’ve revealed their actual relationship status after leaving the villa.

The pair both entered the villa together as bombshells, but there’s a rule that bombshells aren’t allowed to get to know other bombshells, so they were forced to chat to other people. When they were both dumped, they started chatting, and they’re still dating now they’re back in the UK. But nothing is serious yet, and it’s “very early doors”.

Speaking on the Spill With Will podcast, Elicia said: “We spent a lot of time in the villa together to be fair, chatting and stuff. And since we got out, we’ve been texting a lot and calling. It’s very, very early doors.”

Elicia explained that when it was announced they were dating at the final, they’d actually only been texting for a couple of days, so it was a bit of an over-exaggeration, but they are heading in the right direction. Gushing about him, Elicia said Ethan is “amazing” and “such a gent”. She added: “He’s got my back through thick and thin.” Cute!

They actually fancied each other as soon as they got out of the vans outside the villa, and Ethan made a few comments to his chaperone about her. “We were quite cosy before going in anyway, just chatting. So, we very much fancied each other before going in, but we both owed it to ourselves to get on with the process and test the bonds that we’d gone there to explore, you know?” Elicia said.

In the same interview, Ethan explained that both being bombshells and not being allowed to get to know each other was really “tough”.

“I think everybody knows the rules that bombshells can’t be with bombshells, which is unfortunate,” he said. “It was tough. At the same time though, I didn’t know Elicia was going in until we literally got told on the day, so I hadn’t gone in with any preparation for that. We’d gone in with our own separate intentions, and we rolled with that.”

“So I think we owed it to ourselves to do that anyway, to explore it. Everything happens for a reason,” he added before saying they’re a “match made in heaven” because they’re both personal trainers. They look so good together!
