Did Bianca Censori want to wear a ‘pretty dress’ at the Grammys? Kanye allegedly refused
An insider claimed she tried to back out of the stunt many times
Bianca Censori reportedly wanted to wear a pretty dress at Grammys instead of her sheer see-through number, but apparently Kanye refused. An insider claimed to The New York Post that Kanye insisted she go through with the striking stunt on the Grammys 2025 red carpet on Sunday night.
Photographers, celebs and viewers at home could only watch in complete shock as Bianca took off her black fur coat on the Grammys red carpet to reveal her bare body under a barely-there dress.
Bianca Censori tried to back out of appearing naked at the 67th Grammy Awards red carpet various times, but her husband Kanye West insisted she go through with it, a close confidante of Kanye claimed to The New York Post.
The insider, who said they spoke with both Kanye and Bianca at the Grammys on Sunday, said she “would have much rather worn a pretty dress.”
“She would have enjoyed the evening a lot more,” the source claimed.
Apparently, she was “really nervous” and even “wanted to back out several times,” but Kanye “didn’t want her to,” so she went ahead with the scene.
“When Ye gets something in his head, there’s no talking him out of it. But make no mistake, this was totally him and not her,” the source continued.
“This is literally what people have nightmares about, and she did it on purpose. But she wouldn’t have done it without Ye.”
However, the Daily Mail has reported that the dress was actually Bianca’s own choice. Another insider who claims to be a friend of Bianca’s said she was a “willing participant” in the Grammys debacle and “was not being forced at all” amid concerns for her safety.

“She is not controlled by Kanye. They build these looks together, sharing ideas and vision against the establishment of fashion and culture,” the source said.
“Ye is empowering Bianca, and Bianca loves this. They are doing this together, so any suggestion that they are not in on this together is false.”
